2006 M2M Bike Tour

December 2, 2006

The 9th Annual M2M featured a new 58 mile Southside country route circling Braunig Lake.  Sixteen bike clubs from Houston, Austin, and San Antonio joined local cycling enthusiasts to enjoy the letter perfect weather and rural scenery.  Scouts and their leaders joined families on the Mission Trail route taking advantage of the five historic missions and the expanding network of hike and bike routes. Many of these  riders opted to increase their contributions to local charities through the Community Challenge registration.  Twenty "registration" prizes valued at a total of $1000 were awarded to randomly selected riders.  Mission Trail Rotary has distributed rider registration fees to Christian Senior Services (Meals on Wheels) and Los Compadres (Friends of the Missions
